| Child's Tricycle |
I have decided to look at the steering mechanism on this little child's tricycle. It's quite simple, there are are two bars and they are connected together in the shape of a T. The vertical bar is longer, off the vertical bar is another bar but it's facing downwards. The downwards bar has two metal triangle shaped pieces attached to its sides with the pointy end of the triangle heading in towards the wheel, then there is a small metal bar connecting the two triangles together which holds the wheel in place. To move/steer this tricycle you push on the handle part of the T bar, pushing it left makes you go right, and pushing it right makes you go left.

It is very informative and interesting. It is different in a way that it's something less noticed as a machine. Good job
ReplyDeleteGreat example. As the machine is so simple, it is easy to see the steering mechanism. Thanks Imi.
