Who: My leader of change is Nelson Mandela.

When: Born 1918

What: He helped the black people of South Africa during apartheid where white people had more rights than black people during the time between 1950 and 1990.

Why: He wanted to follow Gandhi an Indian leader of the 1940s.  Blacks were being treated very badly in South Africa

How: Nelson started with a peaceful approach but that wasn't helping him so he decided to put down bombs around certain buildings but not to harm any one.  After that he was a national terrorist and was sent to jail for 27 years. When he was released he won the Nobel Peace Prize.  After that he won World Man of the Year and was elected South African president.
