About My Name - Alysha Shirley Moka Sisepi-Liew

My name was chosen by my mum.

She just randomly came up with my name, she says it just popped into her head.

But my middle names are named after my: Aunty Shirley (My mums's twin sister) & My Late Nena Moka who died in 2010.

Lastly my surname was my mum and dads last name hyphenated together Sisepi (Mums) - Liew (Dads)

    I love the fact your name just popped into your Mum's head - it was meant to be!
    It is special to carry names of family members too, I wonder if you will carry on that tradition in the future. Thanks for sharing.
