Louis Braille the inventor of Braille a way to read with the hands.

Louis Braille was the creator of  Braille, a way of reading quickly and effectively for the blind and visually impaired. Louis was born on January the 4th 1809 in france and died at the age of 43 of tuberculosis. He was educated at Institut National des Jeunes Aveugles, Royal Institution for Blind Youth. The reason he felt inspired to invent Braille for the blind is that it was clumsy and slow to read other books for the blind and were very expensive to manufacture but Braille solved this. This would also mean that the blind would have a better chance at education, which is a human right and gives more opportunities to them. If it wasn't for Louis Braille and his invention of the Braille alaphabet blind people these days wouldn't be as knowledgeable as they are today.

  1. Very informative, and covers the 5W and H about Louis Braille effectively, giving the reader basic information and giving a resource for further inquiry if desired. If Louis Braille had not invented this revolutionary system for the blind, this group of society could not contribute and take part in such a simple task, limiting them, and limiting society.
