MY KOREAN NAME MEANING (Late Entry 0.o)

My Korean name is Young Seok, or 영석 in Korean. It means an intelligent (Seok) and worthy person (Young). First of all, Korean families usually share one word in the same generation. For example, my cousin's name is Young Min (영민) and Young Jin (영진), whereas my name is Young Seok (영석). As you can see, my generation's shared word is Young. The rest of my name is up to my parents to find a name for me in which they hope I will become. If you think about it, English and Korean naming systems ate the same. For example, my family picked my name Eugene means well born or noble. In Korea, my family also picked my name Young Seok because it means an intelligent and/or worthy person. Parents pick names in which they want their child to become when older.
